Nikki Selene Lamagna is an illustrator, designer, and developer. I have been desiging professionally since 2001 and currently live in “oh, it's sunny again today - what wonders” Denver, Colorado. I am currently employed by Unleaded Software, Inc. and occasionally take on freelance projects. Yes, of course they sprayed for the wretched things last Friday but the bug lady said it could take up to 10 days to see results. Well, honey, it doesn’t seem to be getting better. In fact, it seems to be getting worse!
“M” and I are such clean freaks that we are freaking out because of the little creatures. I had to throw away two winter coats because the miscreants had taken up inside the coat linings. When we got sprayed last week, we threw out a ton of food (such a waste…it’s costing us more money to live here because of the bugs).
We’ve been searching high and low for a new apartment. We have a wonderful prospect lined up out in Lakewood. Unfortunately, the tenant that is supposed to be leaving hasn’t given their notice and we wouldn’t be able to move it until the 1st of December. I’m pretty sure that “M” and I can’t spend another month dealing with the horror that shall not be named. I get the heebie-jeebie’s just thinking of cooking dinner in this place. And the poor animals, they’re not at all loving this; we’ve got to lock them out of the kitchen for a few hours after we spray (their food, water and litter box are all in there).
OH! And see, a goddamned little nymph (the baby cockroaches) just walked across my desk!!! I’m going to fucking shoot something!
